A Bag to School
Not all parts of the world have the privilege to access digital learning, some still lack essential commodities like books and stationery supplies. Western Africa has the highest number of out-of-school children with an average of only 53% for primary school completion. Despite the free education policy in Ghana, the vulnerable groups are unmet due to the indirect cost of education. As low as 10% of the public education spending reaches the poorest communities.
Children everywhere in the world get excited for the new school year and the prime reason has always been back-to-school shopping, and that is how we will support the children in Ghana with their education costs. We are starting small by providing writing supplies and books packed in school bags.
